COMMERCE CITY ― A late afternoon water main break has closed a portion of Colorado Blvd, between E 70th Avenue and E 72nd Avenue in Commerce City.
The South Adams County Water and Sanitation District is coordinating the repairs on the water main that ruptured around 3pm today. The cause of the break is currently under investigation.
Motorists are advised to use US Highway 85 and Brighton Blvd as alternate routes. The roadway is expected to be closed for at least four hours.
