The Adams County Board of Commissioners participated in a “topping” off ceremony of the county’s new Government Center on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009.This construction milestone was celebrated by the construction crew and project contractors as the last beam of steel was laid into place.
In keeping with tradition, the commissioners and others signed their names on the final steel beam added to the structure.
