Comedy for CASA, A Night of Laughs at the Improv Comedy Club

Denver, CO – There is no better time than the holidays to get together with friends to share an evening of laughs, good food and entertainment. You can make the event even more special knowing that 100% of your $10 ticket to the Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre will go to support Child Advocates, Denver CASA and CASA of Adam and Broomfield Counties.

On Thursday, December 3rd, 2009, the Improv Comedy Club will be hosting Comedy for CASA. The evening starts at 7:30 pm featuring comedian Jim Short. Tickets are $10 and are available through their website at http://www.improvdenver.com/ or by calling their box office at 303-307-1777. One hundred percent of the ticket sales will go to benefit advocacy services for abused and neglected children in Denver, Adams and Broomfield Counties. In addition, members of the CASA Young Philanthropist Projects (YPP) will host a “Balloon Pop Auction” in which participants may purchase a balloon for $25 for the chance to win a gift worth up to $250.

CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that trains, supports and supervises community volunteers who advocate for the best interests of innocent infant and child victims of abuse and neglect. In the Metro Area, there are almost 600 CASA volunteers, but CASA is in need of more great community members to become advocates for children. CASA conducts volunteer training several times a year.
