With the holidays approaching, United Residents for Commerce City (URCC) and Our Saviour Lutheran Church are joining forces to help those in need this holiday season.
The two groups will be hosting a Christmas Chili dinner on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 5 p.m., at the church, 6770 Monaco St. Cost for the dinner is a $5 donation for adults, $2.50 donation for children. Proceeds will go to families at the church for their Christmas needs.
At 6 p.m. URCC, with a grant from the Denver Foundation, will be hosting a free Christmas Lights Bus Tour that will travel through all the subdivisions in Commerce City from Adams City to Reunion. The tour will last from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Bus space is limited to the first 100 people who RSVP by Dec. 13 to Debra Bullock at 303-287-6747.
