Yukiko McIntyre, wife of Dustie McIntyre, suffered a ruptured aneurysm on November 15th. Early that morning she underwent extensive emergency brain surgery. Two more aneurysms were found and were clipped. Since then she’s had three strokes, one heart attack, congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, and received six units of blood.

She spent her first month in the NSICU at St. Anthony's Central in Denver and is currently undergoing rehabilitation also at St. Anthony's.

{12/29 UPDATE} - Yukiko was upgraded to real food today and was able to say mother in Japanese.

{12/25 UPDATE} - Yukiko walked on her own today.

{12/24 UPDATE} - Yukiko was moved to a rehabilitation room in the hospital where she will be able to do physical therapy 5 times a week.

{12/19 UPDATE} - Yukiko was moved into a regular hospital room after being in the NSICU for 34 days.
