Thousands to receive financial aid assistance at College Goal Sunday on Feb. 20 and Feb. 21

Colorado students and their parents will gather at 15 locations statewide to receive free professional help applying for financial aid for higher education

College Goal Sunday is a free event to help prospective college students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. Last year, Colorado’s College Goal Sunday events assisted 3,000 students and parents with the FAFSA. CollegeInvest will award a $1,000 scholarship at each of the 15 locations. Only nearby locations are shown.

Students and parents across the state will receive free assistance from financial aid experts, including CollegeInvest.

Given the challenging state of our economy, it’s more important than ever that we help Colorado’s families access financial aid. The FAFSA is required for students seeking any type of financial aid including student grants, work study, loans and even some scholarships.
