On March 13, 2010, at approximately 11:00 p.m., a deputy from the Adams County Sheriff's Office was shot. Deputies were routine foot patrol, in an apartment complex in the 1700 block of Coronado Parkway, in unincorporated Adams County. Deputies heard a disturbance in the complex. As the deputies approached the area of the disturbance, several shots were fired at the deputies. The injured deputy was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Deputies did not return fire.
The identity of the deputy will not be release. The deputy’s injuries were non-life threatening and the deputy was treated and released.
