Operation Round-Up Foundation

United Power members can easily make a big difference in someone’s life by making a small contribution to the Operation Round-Up Foundation. When you sign up for Operation Round-Up, United Power will ‘round-up’ your monthly electric bill and that small change is used to help families and organizations within the service territory. The program provides emergency assistance to individuals for housing, medical and utility expenses and also supports non-profit groups and organizations that serve the local community.

Operation Round-Up is funded entirely by United Power member contributions and the distribution of the funds is overseen by an independent volunteer board. Each month, the board meets to disperse funds to cover medical bills, rent or utilities for individuals, families and charitable organizations. The average contribution is about 50 cents per month, or about $6 per year, and all contributions are tax deductible.

Use your small change to change lives. Sign up online by visiting the ‘yourCommunity’ section at www.unitedpower.com, by checking the box on the bottom of your next monthly statement, or by calling 303-637-1300. United Power members in need can apply for Operation Round-Up assistance by filling out the application available at www.unitedpower.com.

United Power, Your Touchstone Energy® Partner, is a member-owned cooperative delivering electricity to more than 65,000 customers at homes, business, and farms in Colorado's north central front range.
