It is expected that a number of charter school groups will submit proposals to School District 27J for a new charter of the Brighton Collegiate High School, the deadline in March 8th, 2010.
School District 27J officially took control of Brighton Collegiate High School March 1st after an incident involving a student and staff member. The district is expected to make a decision of new charter applicants by April of this year. The district would like to reopen the high school the fall of 2010.
