GOV. RITTER CONGRATULATES JIM LOCHHEAD AS THE NEW CEO OF DENVER WATER

Gov. Bill Ritter today congratulated Jim Lochhead on being selected the new CEO/Manager of Denver Water. Lochhead has spent the last 20 years working and representing the water interests of Colorado.

"In the West, water issues touch every part of our life and having a leader like Jim will benefit the whole state,” said Gov. Ritter. “Jim’s leadership and experience dealing with water issues makes him a perfect fit for this position. Congratulations to Denver Water and Jim.”

For the past 20 years, Jim Lochhead has represented the state of Colorado and a coalition of major water utilities and districts with regard to interstate Colorado River operations and issues. He was Colorado’s commissioner for and vice-chairman of the Upper Colorado River Commission.
