Brighton, CO – Spring has quickly settled in, the flowers are blooming and the grass isturning green. This can only mean one thing: the Brighton Legacy FoundationDisc Golf Tournament is quickly approaching! On May 15, 2010, the Brighton LegacyFoundation and Fuhgidabowdit Pizzeria will host the Foundation’s third Annual Disc Golf Tournament at Benedict Park in Brighton, Colorado. The group is anticipating its largest turn-out ever for the community’s only disc golf tournament of the year, with an added option for the general public to come out and learn more about disc golf, purchase signature discs, have lunch with the golfers and enjoy a beautiful day filled with fun! The tournament costs $25 for registration. Lunch tickets are available for non-disc golfers for just ten dollars per person. On-hundred percent of proceeds will benefit youth education scholarships for Brighton area students.
The event will kick off with registration and breakfast provided by The Bagel Bakery & Cupcake Shoppe from 7:30 – 8:30 AM. Discs will start flying at 9:00 AM. Lunch is provided by Fuhgidabowdit Pizzeria.
