BARRY GLASGOW BRIGHTON MUNICIPAL JUDGE LAID TO REST TODAY

Barry Glasgow, 50, died July 3. A local attorney for 25 years, Glasgow started the Glasgow Family Law Center. He also served as the Brighton Municipal Court judge since December 2008, after serving the city as associate municipal judge since April 2001. He presided over the city’s Teen Court. Glasgow earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver College of Business Administration. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver College of Law. While in law school, Glasgow served as a law clerk for the Honorable Oyer G. Leary of the Adams County District Court. Survivors include his wife, Cyndi; sons Ryan (Rebecca) and Nicholas Glasgow. Condolence cards can be sent to the Glasgow Family Law Center, 23 S. Fourth Ave., Brighton, CO, 80601, to be forwarded to his family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Harvest Fellowship Church, 11401 East 160th Ave.
