Brighton Police Seek Help Identifying Suspect

Brighton police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man being sought for questioning in the sexual assault of a Brighton girl. The assault reportedly took place at a Brighton-area park on the morning of Monday, August 2, 2010. The attached composite sketch, produced from the victim’s description, may resemble the suspect as he appeared at the time of the assault.

The suspect, who identified himself to the victim as ‘Luis’ or ‘Louis’, is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 19 years of age. The victim described the suspect as being between 5’5” and 5’7” tall, approximately 140 lbs. with a thin build, light-colored skin, and short brown hair. The suspect did not have a beard or moustache, but may have had a light growth of razor stubble.
