Commerce City Ward One Meeting

Thursday night, July 29, Ward One City Council member Dominic Moreno held his first ward meeting at the eclectic Derby coffee house, Mugsy's. About forty citizens attended as well as fellow Council members, Rene Bullock, Jadie Carson, and Jim Benson. In this setting, citizens were allowed to ask questions, voice concerns and receive an immediate response from their representatives. Concerns ranged from the senior center raising fees to property maintenance and clean up, as well as the progress of renovations in Derby. The evening was very successful and citizens left feeling that they do have a say in their city.
