Brighton Economic Development Corporation Takes A Stance, Signing Two Resolutions For The November Election

September 17, 2010---Brighton, CO--- The Brighton Economic Development Corporation (BEDC) Board of Directors has signed two resolutions taking a unanimous stance on ballot measures that are on the November ballot that would potentially impact local businesses. The first resolution indicates that the BEDC Board of Directors opposes Amendments 60 and 61 and Proposition 101. The second resolution indicates that the BEDC Board of Directors supports the 2010 School District 27J Mill Levy Override.

The Brighton Chamber of Commerce has 200 yards signs opposing Amendments 60 and 61 and Proposition 101 courtesy of the Don’t Hurt Colorado Campaign. Signs supporting School District 27J Mill Levy Override may also be picked up at the Brighton Chamber of Commerce office courtesy of Parents for 27J Students. Anyone interested may pick up a sign at the Brighton Chamber of Commerce office located at 1850 Egbert Street, Ste 140 in Brighton during normal business hours.
