Don’t miss the next ‘Coffee with a Commerce City Cop’ Sept.23rd @ Mugsy's

COMMERCE CITY – The Commerce City Police Department is planning another Coffee with a Cop meeting in its continuing efforts to build a strong relationship with the community.

Police Chief Philip J. Baca and other police personnel – including public information officers – will be at Mugsy’s Coffee House, 7250 Monaco St., on Thursday, Sept. 23. The get-together is from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

This program is designed to provide officers more opportunities to meet with citizens in a non-traditional police setting. And it’s a great opportunity for citizens to learn more about crime, traffic, quality of life issues, and crime-prevention efforts.

Coffee with a Cop meetings are held at different coffee shops throughout the city, one morning each month. Officers from different areas of the department attend these sessions.
