Every year the Brighton Chamber of Commerce presents awards at the Annual Awards Banquet recognizing individuals and businesses in the community that have gone above and beyond to make Brighton a better place to live, work, learn and play. The winners receive an award at the annual banquet and will be featured on the Brighton Chamber of Commerce Web site as the winners. The Banquet is being held on October 15, 2010 at The Armory. This year we are calling for nominations for three awards including: Small Business of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Non-Profit Organization of the Year. Please find the attached banquet invitation and the three nomination forms. Chamber members are encouraged to nominate individuals and submit their nomination forms by Monday, October 11 to be eligible for judging by this year’s panel.Each form outlines the criteria for the award, questions about the nominee and an explanation on how to return the form. All businesses/individuals that are nominated will be notified as soon as the nomination is returned and encouraged to attend the Banquet where the winners will be announced. All results will be kept confidential until the Banquet.
