$20,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction

The Aurora Police Department and the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office announce the arrest and filing of charges against Lupe Rubio (dob: 03/11/1967) in connection with the March 2010 death of 43-year old Lyndsay Pham in Aurora, Colorado.

Shortly before noon on March 3, 2010, Aurora patrol officers responded to an apartment complex in the 11100 block of E. 16th Avenue on a report of a critically injured woman. Upon arrival, first responders located Lyndsay Pham, manager and co-owner of the Descanso Plaza Apartments, stabbed inside the office of the apartment complex. The victim was transported to a local hospital and subsequently died from stab wounds.

After a seven month investigation by police, Rubio was arrested on October 28, 2010. The District Attorney has charged Rubio with Robbery (F4), 1st Degree Murder (F1) and Accessory to Murder (F4).

Rubio is scheduled to appear in court for a preliminary hearing on January 28, 2011, 9:00 AM, Adams County District Court in Division Q.

In addition, a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Javier Agurre (dob: 11/30/1979) also in connection with the death of Pham. Agurre, AKA Manuel Morales Acosta, is a citizen of Mexico and is believed to have fled the United States for Mexico.

There is a $20,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Agurre.
