The city of Brighton’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the 26th Annual Turkey Trot at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 20, beginning at the Brighton Recreation Center, 555 N. 11th Ave. This 5K Run/Walk features various age divisions with awards given to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female finishers in each division.Registration is available in-person at the recreation center through 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 18 or online by noon on Friday, Nov. 19 at www.brightonco.gov, then click on “Departments” and “Parks and Recreation.”
The early bird registration fee is $25/adults (16-59) or $17/youth (15 and under) and seniors (60+). The race day fee is $30/adults (16-59) or $22/youth (15 and under) and seniors (60+). The fee includes a Great Tec T-shirt, post race breakfast, awards, prizes, drawings and much more.
