Brighton Festival of Lights parade winners announced

The Festival of Lights parade winners have been announced and is posted on the city’s Web site at www.brightonco.gov. This year’s 15th annual parade hosted over 75 fully-lighted entries, with over 18,000 attendees.

Comcast Cable KBRI Channel 8 will air complete coverage of the parade by the end of this week and it will also be available on the city’s Web site by clicking on “Online Services” and then “Watch KBRI Live.”

The Events, Volunteers and Downtown Initiative division thanks the Brighton community, event organizers, volunteers, entertainment center’s emcees and site officials, committees, local businesses/restaurants, local high school students, Colorado Workfair Program, Rocky Mountain Offender Management Systems, Brighton Pavilions, the Brighton Chamber of Commerce, School District 27J, and the Greater Brighton Fire Protection District.
