John McCuskey Named Executive Director of E-470 Public Highway Authority

E-470 acting executive director John McCuskey has been officially named the new executive director of the E-470 Public Highway Authority. David Kristick was promoted to deputy executive director in addition to his current position as director of operations, and Joe Donahue to chief financial officer. Jason Myers joins E-470 as controller.

McCuskey joined E-470 in 1999 as director of finance. He was promoted in 2002 to deputy executive director in addition to his position as director of finance. McCuskey became acting executive director earlier this year following the death of executive director Ed DeLozier in April.

Prior to joining E-470, McCuskey had a career in investment banking and was an independent toll road consultant, providing toll operations studies and management plans for clients nationally and internationally.

Kristick has served as E-470’s director of operations since 1998. His management responsibilities include customer service operations, toll system and facility maintenance management and E-470’s public relations and marketing efforts. Prior to joining E-470, Kristick served 20 years in the U.S. Army as a special operations aviator.

Donahue started with E-470 in 2000 as a financial analyst and became controller in 2005. Donahue is responsible for all financial, accounting and audit functions and oversees budgets, debt and cash management, and financial reporting.

Myers comes from KPMG, an accounting firm, where he most recently served as senior manager in the audit practice.

The E-470 tollway runs along the eastern perimeter of the Denver metropolitan area. The 70-mph highway extends 47 miles from State Highway C-470 at I-25 in Douglas County, to I-25 near 160th Ave., in Thornton.
