Ask for a "YES" vote on Colorado State Senate Bill 9

The Colorado State Senate is considering a bill to help animal care and control agencies as they work to get animals in abuse and neglect cases into new homes faster.

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted in favor of SB-9 and the bill is now headed to the Senate floor. Please ask your senator for a "yes" vote on SB-9 today.

If passed, SB-9 will:

* Minimize stress on animals by limiting time between seizure and decision making
* Streamline the impound process, saving money for cities, counties, and humane societies
* Clearly identify impound hearings as criminal in nature to reflect the seriousness of the proceedings
* Give animal owners the opportunity to be heard before trial, ensuring a fair process

Thank you for all you do for the animals. Take Action Click Here
