The paved pedestrian and bicycle trail along Fulton Ditch is now open from Bridge Street north to Weld County Road 2. The portion of the trail south of Bridge and north of Egbert will open on Friday, Jan. 28. The trail has been closed for routine maintenance and cleaning to remove silt, debris and trees from the ditch. This is a routine cleaning, done every two to three years. Low temperatures caused a delay in the operations during the past few weeks.
