Brighton DECA finished 2nd place in the Program of Work (Chapter of the Year) contest. This was chaired by Melissa Laurienti.The Brighton DECA Quiz Bowl team of Manuel Ornelas, Marie Makepeace, Odyssey Villagomez, and Jessica Gonzales took 1st place.
Nayeli Luna, Yessica Canas and George Loy finished in 1st place in the Laern and Earn contest.
Olena Textoris finished in 2nd place in the Buying and Merchandising Operations Research Event.
Viktor Chavez and Brandon Fukutome finished in 2nd place in the Creative Marketing Project.
Danielle Morris, Marie Makepeace, and Kaitlin Hergenrider finished in 5th place in the Business Services Operations Research Event.
In addition, the following were also recognized at the conference falling just short of National Qualification;
Lilly Prochoda was a finalist in the Professional Sales Event.
Jessica Gonzales was a finalist in the Business Services Operations Research Event.
Paige Conrado and Alex Jarabek were finalists in the Community Service Event.
Justin Yslas and Odyssey Villagomez were finalists in the Hospitality and Tourism Operations Research Event.
