Prescription Drug Roundup (Commerce City)

Last year in Colorado, more than 9,000 pounds of expired, unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs were collected. It’s confidential. It helps eliminate drug abuse by children and teens. It properly disposes of drugs that can be harmful to the environment. And best of all, it’s free! Saturday • April 30 • 10am - 2pm

Did you know …
• More than 7 million kids age 12 and older abused prescription drugs
• The total number of individuals that initiated drug use with prescription drugs exceeds the number of individuals that initiated drug use with marijuana.
• Every day, on average, 2,500 teens use prescription drugs to get high for the first time.
