Brighton Cultural Center announces Summer Series 2011!

Historic Downtown Brighton is going to be a little hotter this summer!

The Armory and Anythink Brighton Library, located just west of 4th Avenue and Bridge Streets in Brighton, is gearing up for “Summer Series 2011”, 8 weeks and 23 FREE events filled with music, moves, variety, and entertainment for all ages!

Working together as the Brighton cultural Center, the Armory and Anythink Brighton Library have put together this summer entertainment series which is sure to rival that of any venue in the north metro area! Starting Tuesday, June 7 and running weekly through July 27, the series features interactive activities for children and adults, classic movies on Tuesday nights in the Armory Theatre, and music on the outdoor stage on Wednesday nights. All events are FREE, open to the public, and will be held rain or shine! Get together with a friend, meet your neighbors, and join your community in celebrating the summer with some of the best entertainment around:

Ongoing throughout June/July: Anythink Library presents My Summer! From animals to magic, science to legos, Anythink will be presenting seven FUN, interactive programs for kids of ALL ages! All programs are FREE, but space is limited on some programs, so SIGN UP EARLY at Anythink Library Brighton Branch to reserve your space! There is something for everybody:

Wednesday Night Variety, Outdoor Stage @ the Armory, 6:00pm-8:00pm Relax and enjoy a beautiful summer evening at one of our FREE Wednesday night concerts, featuring music from great local and regional acts! After a long day at work, all ages are welcome to join us in the grassy area between Anythink Library and the Armory to sing, dance, and celebrate summer!
