Adams 14, Colorado’s 23rd largest school district, will welcome students back to school for the first day of the academic year on Aug. 15, 2011.This year, with the exception of Adams City High School (ACHS), registration materials will not be mailed home. Instead, schools will provide families with informational packets when they register during the established times below.
July 27 – ACHS senior class registration – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (door closes at 3:30 p.m.)
July 27 – elementary and middle school registration – 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
July 28 – ACHS junior class registration – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (door closes at 3:30 p.m.)
July 28 – elementary and middle school registration – 9 to 11 a.m., 1 to 3 p.m. and 4:30 to 7 p.m.
July 29 – ACHS sophomore class registration – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (door closes at 3:30 p.m.)
August 2 – ACHS freshman class registration – 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (door closes at 5 p.m.)
August 2 – elementary and middle school registration – 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
August 3 – ACHS new student registration – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (door closes at 3:30 p.m.)
August 3 – elementary and middle school registration – 9 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.
August 4 – elementary and middle school registration – 9 to 11 a.m., 1 to 3 p.m. and 4:30 to 7 p.m.
August 5 – ACHS new student registration – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (door closes at 3:30 p.m.)
For students at Hanson, please note that starting on August 15, the school will be on the elementary school schedule. The school start/stop schedule for the 2011-12 academic year is listed below:
High school – 7:15 a.m. to 2:20 p.m.
Middle school – 8:05 a.m. to 3:05 p.m.
Kindergarten through fifth-grade elementary school – 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
Preschool/pre-kindergarten – 9 to 11:45 a.m. OR 1 to 3:45 p.m.
