Brighton Senior Center hosts parking lot sale Aug. 26

In order to prepare for their move to the Eagle View Adult Recreation Center early next year, the Brighton Senior Center will host a parking lot sale from 7 a.m. to noon on Friday, August 26 in the Center’s parking lot, 575 Bush Street.

Items will include crafts, table decorations, vases, and other various items collected over the years. Those interested in also getting rid of some of their old stuff may rent a space in the parking lot for $10. Spaces are limited so please call the Senior Center at 303-655-2075 to register.

Proceeds from the Senior Center items sold will go back to the Senior Center.

The Senior Center is expected to move into the Eagle View Adult Center in early 2012. Construction is currently underway at the center’s site at 1150 Prairie Center Parkway in Brighton.

Eagle View Adult Center will double the size of the current Brighton Senior Center and will enable the programs and services to expand and grow over time. The new facility will serve the adult population with a target audience being those ages 55 and older. The secondary target for programs will be those adults 40 and older.

For more information on the parking lot sale or the Senior Center, please call 303-655-2075
