Brighton City Hall decorates its walls with artwork from area artists

The City of Brighton’s Eye for Art Program will celebrate its grand opening and dedication of the new City Hall building with its first Eye for Art Display beginning Oct. 14. The Eye for Art program allows for selected artwork from area artists to proudly be displayed through City Hall for a three-month period of time.

The art selection committee is proud to announce the artists selected for the first display period. They include: Ron Ames, Kim Degnegaard, Diane Devries, Edward Erhmann, Ginger Emery, Marina Galasso, Ron Gerbrandt, Dean F Glorso, Walter Hawn, Robin Jamison Hernandez, Alex Kleidon, Melissa Koons, Sherry Seltzer Kreutzer, Kathy Lechman, Sandie Mackenzie, William Nicol, Michael Sanderson, Nina Nagel-Ramser, Delia Casas-Valdevida, Holly Weipz, and David Wells.

The City of Brighton proudly supports the promotion of culture and art within the City through other additional venues such as the Armory and the Cultural Arts Commission.

Artists or art groups interested in displaying their work during future displays may call Laurie Maier, Eye for Artwork Committee Chair, at 303-655-2034.
