Four-way stop sign installed at Bridge Street and 50th Avenue

Beginning today, the City of Brighton Streets Department will install four-way stop sign at the intersection of Bridge Street and 50th Avenue. The four-way stop sign is being placed at the intersection to prepare drivers for the pending installation of a traffic signal at the intersection.

The contract for construction of traffic signals at Bridge Street and 50th Avenue as well as Bridge Street and Telluride is scheduled to be awarded at the Nov. 1 City Council meeting. If the contract is approved, construction will take between 60 and 120 days.

For questions regarding the traffic signals, please call the Streets Department at 303-655-2034
