City seeking artwork for 2012 Eye for Art Program

The city of Brighton is currently seeking artists who are interested in having their artwork on display for its “Fabulous 2012 Year Opener Art Show.” The art show is part of the city’s Eye for Art program which allows for selected artwork from area artists to proudly be displayed through City Hall for a three-month period of time.

Submissions are being accepted now through Dec. 28. Artwork will be displayed throughout City Hall beginning Feb. 1. “The Fabulous 2012 Year Opener” is an open theme show. Artwork may include, but not limited to, painting, drawings, photography and sculpture of various media and theme.

Artists or art groups interested in displaying their work may register by visiting the “Call for Artist Interest” link on the City of Brighton’s website, www.brightonco.gov/egov/apps/action/center.egov.
