The Eagle View Adult Center will officially open its doors this Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 8 a.m. The new facility, located at 1150 Prairie Center Parkway, replaces the Brighton Senior Center which was located at 575 Bush Street.Ground breaking for Eagle View Adult Center began May 10. The new facility is double the size of the former Brighton Senior Center and enables staff the ability to expand programs and services over time. The new facility will serve the adult population with a target audience being those ages 55 and older. The secondary target for programs will be those adults 40 and older.
Registration for February classes begins Jan. 24 and registration for February trips starts on Jan. 26.
A grand opening celebration for Eagle View will be held at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3, followed by a community open house from 9 a.m. to noon on Feb. 4.
