Special Commerce City Ward II Meeting on Hydraulic Fracturing Jan. 10

Informational session features panel of experts

COMMERCE CITY – Join Ward II Councilman Jim Benson at a special monthly ward meeting on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Landmark Academy. This month, oil and gas experts will be on hand to share information on hydraulic fracturing issues. Members of the public can provide written questions for the panel to answer during this informational meeting.

WHAT: Special Ward II meeting on hydraulic fracturing, featuring panelists:

· PHILLIP D. BARBER, ESQ., an attorney with more than 30 years of oil and gas litigation experience.

· CHARLIE MONTGOMERY, an energy organizer with the Colorado Environmental Coalition

· DEBBIE BALDWIN, environmental manager with the Colorado Oil & Gas Conservation Commission

· JIM JONES, general manager, South Adams County Water & Sanitation District
