Father Charged in Attempted Murder of His Two Children

17th Judicial District Attorney, Don Quick, announces the filing of charges against a man in connection with an attempted murder involving his two young children

William Johnson (DOB: 04/16/1984) was charged with four counts of Attempted First Degree Murder (F2), two counts of Child Abuse Resulting in Serious Bodily Injury (F2), one count of First Degree Arson (F3), two counts of Aggravated Cruelty to Animals (F6), Third Degree Assault (M1) and Criminal Mischief (M1). Johnson is currently hospitalized with injuries sustained in the fire. All documents related to this case are currently under seal by court order to preserve the investigation. No mug shot is available.
