The Adams County Board of Commissioners is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer M. Wascak as the new county attorney. The appointment was announced in public hearing on May 30, 2012.Wascak replaces Hal B. Warren who retired in early May 2012. Wascak began her career in Adams County as a judicial law clerk for the 17th Judicial District. She was hired as an assistant county attorney in the Adams County Attorney’s Office in September 1998 and was promoted to deputy county attorney in July 2006.
Wascak completed her undergraduate course work at Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland, graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science/History. She received her Jurisdoctorate, cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law in May 1996.
Wascak is active in local and state professional organizations, including the Colorado Bar Association and the 17th Judicial District Access to Justice Committee.
