Neighborhood Outreach begins summer season

ANNUAL EVENT OFFERs FREE FOOD, entertainment and information

COMMERCE CITY, COLO. – Summer begins with Commerce City ’s annual neighborhood outreaches on June 14 at Reunion Park .


Attendees can enjoy FREE all-beef hot dogs, baked chips, fresh veggies and watermelon slices while learning more about the city. Children can bounce around in inflatables, play with clowns and get their faces painted. The Deja Blue Band will provide entertainment for the crowd.

Approximately 35 entities ranging from school districts to health organizations, area non-profits and businesses will be on hand to provide information about their programs and services. City staff and elected officials also will be on hand to answer questions about city operations.

“This is a great opportunity to learn about available city programs as well as services offered by those throughout our community,” said Tim Duda, community services supervisor.
