Commerce City Dialysis Patients Welcome Congressman Perlmutter and Offer Support of Health Care Reform

Commerce City, CO (September 18, 2009) -- The patients and caregivers of DaVita’s Commerce City Dialysis Center today hosted U.S. Representative Ed Perlmutter (D-CO) to laud him for his leadership on health care issues and offer support for health care reform that ensures continued access to quality dialysis care and strengthens the Medicare benefit.

Congressman Perlmutter met with several patients as they received dialysis treatment and discussed the skyrocketing problem of chronic kidney disease and kidney failure and the importance of enacting progressive policies that are good for Colorado’s patients and taxpayers.
