GOV. RITTER CONGRATULATES MARGUERITE SALAZAR AS HHS REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Gov. Bill Ritter today congratulated Marguerite Salazar on her recent appointment to U.S. Health and Human Services (HHS) Regional Director. Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius announced the selection of Salazar earlier today.

"Marguerite is a brilliant leader. She is one of the most remarkable people who understands the challenges of serving the un- and under-insured,” Gov. Ritter said. “I thank her for all she's done to serve the people of the San Luis Valley and Colorado, and I know she will serve with distinction in this new role.

“I look forward to working with Marguerite and Secretary Sebelius as we move forward. Their knowledge, experience, and dedication will be of great value to Colorado.”
