Adams County Home Sales Down, Prices Steady

The number of homes sold in February 2011 in Adams County decreased 17 percent to 331 compared with the same month a year ago, according to Metrolist® data. The average sold price of homes in Adams County was $175,411 in February 2011, a slight increase of 1.3 percent over February last year. The median price for a single family home in Adams County was steady at $155,000. Homes took longer to sell in Adams County than they did in 2010. Total days on market rose from 78 days in 2010 to 100 day in 2011, a 29.3 percent increase.
