Due to the closure of North Kuner Road for storm and sanitary sewer installation between Brighton and Denver streets, a detour has been put in place for customers needing to access Brighton’s Animal Shelter located at 325 ½ North Kuner Road. This detour is expected to be in place for approximately two months.Those needing to access the shelter should go north on North Kuner from the roundabout at Highway 7 and Highway 85 and follow the detour signs onto a gravel road on the west side of Kuner. The attached map highlights the detour in red. Access off Denver Street and North Kuner Road to Highway 85 will remain closed for all traffic throughout construction.
Caution is advised along the detour route as trenches, piles, materials and heavy equipment will be nearby.
