ADAMS COUNTY DEPUTIES to raise money for special Olympics

On May 1, 2, 3, 2009, Deputies from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office will be at Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, located at 1051 East 120th Avenue, Thornton, to raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics Colorado.

Krispy Kreme Doughnuts and the Law Enforcement Torch Run® are teaming up to raise awareness and funds for Special Olympics Colorado. Adams County Deputies will be at the Krispy Kreme Doughnut shop from 6:00 a.m. on May 1, 2009 until 6:00 p.m. on May 3, 2009, to collect donations. Anyone who contributes $5.00 or more to the Special Olympics will receive a “sweet treat” from Krispy Kreme. For donations of $1,000.00 or more, Krispy Kreme will provide a complimentary doughnut party for the individual, corporation, or organization that made the contribution! The public is also welcome to observe a doughnut eating contest on Saturday, May 1, 2009, at 12:00 p.m.
