
Signs informing visitors about the closure, as well as construction activities and open trenches in the park, are posted at the picnic shelters on site. Along with work on the irrigation system, the city is renovating both volleyball courts, which will include replacing the borders, posts and nets.
Additional improvements to Monaco Park are being considered – including picnic shelters along the south side, new trash cans, benches, barbecue grills, restroom enclosures and upgraded landscaping – and may be added during the park closure.
