Everyone loves a parade and the Adams County Fair Parade is a great way to start off the fun and excitement of the county’s annual fair. The fair parade is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009 at 10 a.m. in Brighton. Applications for participation are now being accepted. Parade entry categories are motorized, float, equestrian, walking/marching and unique.The parade will begin at 19th and Bridge Street and will follow Bridge Street to 4th Avenue south where the parade will de-stage. Grand marshals for this year’s parade are Adams County Fair Queen Randi Rae Fishler and Lady in Waiting Sydnie Rask. This year’s theme is One Great County, One Great Fair.
