Click Image to EnlargeThe Commerce City Police Department is investigating a sex assault that occurred on May 28, 2009 at approximately 11pm, at the Travel America, 5101 Quebec St.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40’s, with blond or light brown hair in a short, “military style” haircut. The male is further described as having chubby cheeks and a long face. The male did not have facial hair or distinguishing marks on his face at the time of the incident. The male had a tattoo of two whiskey barrels with a cowgirl in between them, on the left side of his chest.
The male was armed with a gun at the time of the sex assault, and is believed to be left-handed.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a white, International tractor truck with a silver tanker trailer attached. There were no Department of Transportation (DOT) or Public Utilities Commission (PUC) numbers visible on the truck, and a license plate number was not obtained.
A composite sketch of the suspect was completed, depicting the upper half of his face. Anyone who has seen this individual or with information about this incident or a similar incident is asked to call the Commerce City Department (303-287-2844) or Detective Wood (303-227-8831)
