On Thursday, June 25, 2009, investigators with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office arrested 43-year-old, Patrick Michael Loomis, Jr., of Washington State, for Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child. Loomis was arrested in Colorado after an extensive internet-based investigation.Loomis had several internet conversations with Sheriff’s Office investigators that were posing as an underage female. Loomis performed sexually explicit acts that were viewed by the investigators. Loomis arranged a sexual-liaison in Colorado. He then flew into Colorado where he took a cab to a specified residence to engage in sexual relations. When Loomis arrived at the residence he was promptly arrested and later charged with two count of Internet Sexual Exploitation of a Child.
Loomis was booked into the Adams County Detention Facility but was released on June 26, 2009 after posting $10,000.00 bond. Loomis has reportedly returned to the Seattle area where he resides.
