COMMERCE CITY ― On July 28, 2009, Detectives from the Commerce City Police Department presented this case to the Adams County Districts Attorney’s Office. During that filing the Adams County Districts Attorney’s Office filed formal charges on 28 year old Juan Carlos Lopez for the murder of Dung Le who was shot to death on June 3, 2009, inside the Dollar Value Plus store he owned and operated in Commerce City.Charges are as follows:
Count 1: Murder in the first degree (Class one felony)
Count 2: Aggravated Robbery (Class three felony)
An arrest warrant has been issued through the Adams County District Attorney’s Office. Juan Carlos Lopez is currently being held at the Denver County Jail for an unrelated homicide.
