(COMMERCE CITY , CO – August 24, 2009) Marriott Residence Inn Denver will present a check for $2,500 to Rose Hill Elementary School to help purchase ELMO document cameras for teachers and students. Rose Hill, one of six elementary schools in Adams 14, was selected by Marriott to receive funds raised from two bingo nights hosted earlier this year.

The award event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 25, at 8:30 a.m. in the school library at 6900 East 58th Avenue in Commerce City .

“Our community partnerships are important to advancing educational opportunities for students,” said Principal Samara Williams. “Understanding technology in the 21st Century provides enormous advantages, and we are grateful to Marriott for helping us acquire these resources.”

Marriott is also offering volunteers to help staff and students learn how to integrate the new technology into Rose Hill classrooms.
