The City of Brighton has activated the Emergency Operations Center

The City of Brighton has activated the Emergency Operations Center. The City and Greater Brighton Fire Protection District are providing a coordinated response from one location.

The City Public Works Streets Division currently has 6 snow plows on a 12hr-on/12hr-off schedule. The Parks and Recreation Department currently has light duty plows operating to maintain access to City facilities. The police patrol staff remains on 10 hour shifts.

Currently there are two regular shifts working. The City is not on “Accident Alert.” This means that all traffic accidents and emergencies must be reported by calling 911. To report non-emergency storm related issues, citizens should call 303-655-2000 at any time. Citizens can also report any issues to the City of Brighton website at www.brightonco.gov.
