April trips feature hot springs, aviation history and more

COMMERCE CITY – If you’ve got spring fever, we’ve got the cure! Join the Commerce City Recreation Center as we travel to new and interesting places, attend exciting events and have fun together on our spring trips.

Adults 50 and older are invited to come play with us in Black Hawk, where you can try your luck at the Fortune Valley casino. Get a feel for life in Golden in the 1800s as you tour the historic Astor House. Soak up the atmosphere and relax in the natural hot springs of Idaho Springs. Learn about Jewish culture at the Mizel Museum , sing along with a barbershop quartet, and be amazed by aviation at the Peterson Air and Space Museum in Colorado Springs .

From shopping for crafts to dinner out, from the Astor House to aviation history, April is full of exciting adventures. All tours and trips leave from and return to the Commerce City Recreation Center.
