About Derby Days
Mark your calendar and save the date for the most exciting event in Commerce City! DERBY DAZE will take place on Saturday, June 12th from 11am - 4pm in the Derby on Magnolia Street in Commerce City.

Last year nearly 7,500 individuals participated in Derby Daze. DO NOT miss your opportunity to be a part of the event in 2010! The purpose of Derby Daze has been to promote community morale, increase resident participation, and make Commerce City a stronger and more vibrant community. At the festival, residents from all cultural groups represented in our population are brought together for a day of live music, food, health information and games for all ages. The health fair aims to offer free dental check-ups, immunizations, doctor consultations, car seat safety checks, and information from health and safety organizations in the community. The event promotes local Commerce City businesses and organizations by having information booths so that residents can become more informed about the Commerce City community.

Community Enterprise and Salud Family Health Centers have come together and are excited to jointly host the Derby Daze celebration. We thank you for your consideration and hope to hear from you soon. If you have any questions please feel free to contact us via phone or email.

The mission of Community Enterprise is to encourage Commerce City residents to take ownership of community solutions and promote positive social change. The organization was created in 1998, by a group of residents and community members whose objective was to create a consistent, organized, and resident driven effort to strengthen the community. Over the last eleven years, our organization has become a catalyst for civic participation. We have served as a vehicle for community participation, which is our main goal.

Salud Family Health Centers is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was first established to meet the needs of migrant farm workers and their families in northeastern Colorado. While still concerned with the migrant farm workers and their families, Salud's mission has expanded to include the health care needs of the underinsured and uninsured. We also strive to provide care in a culturally sensitive and competent manner.
